December 16, 2024 - The City of Davenport will observe Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as holidays on Tuesday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 25.
City Hall and Public Works will be closed.
Police Department front desk and Records Bureau will be closed.
Library Main, Fairmount, and Eastern branches will be closed.
Parks and Recreation administrative office will be closed.
Fairmount Community Center will be closed.
The River’s Edge will be open Tuesday, December 24 and closed Wednesday, December 25.
Vander Veer Conservatory will be open 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 24 and closed Wednesday, December 25.
Adler Theatre administrative office and box office will be open until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 24 and closed Wednesday, December 25.
RiverCenter administrative office will be closed.
CitiBus service will end at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24. There will be no CitiBus service on Wednesday, December 25.
Compost Facility will be closed. Reminder: Compost Facility is now on winter hours through March 31. Winter hours are 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays, and closed on weekends.
There will be no garbage, recycling, bulky waste, and yard waste collection on Wednesday, December 25. Monday collection will occur on Monday. Tuesday collection will occur on Tuesday. Wednesday through Friday collection will be one day late with Friday collection occurring on Saturday. Refer to the solid waste collection calendar for the holiday schedule.
Residents may set out 5 extra bags of garbage next to their carts, without stickers, on their normal collection day during the period Thursday, December 26 - Tuesday, December 31.
