December 16, 2024 - The City of Davenport will observe New Year’s Day as a holiday on Wednesday, January 1.
City Hall and Public Works will be closed. Please note: City Council will reconvene for the first 2025 Committee of the Whole meeting on Wednesday, January 8.
Police Department front desk and Records Bureau will be closed.
Library Main, Fairmount, and Eastern branches will be closed Tuesday, December 31 and Wednesday, January 1.
Parks and Recreation administrative office will be closed.
Fairmount Community Center will be closed Tuesday, December 31 and Wednesday, January 1.
The River’s Edge facility will be open.
Vander Veer Conservatory will be closed.
Adler Theatre administrative office and the Adler Theatre Box Office will be closed.
RiverCenter administrative office will be closed.
CitiBus service will not be provided.
Compost Facility will be closed. Reminder: Compost Facility is now on winter hours through March 31. Winter hours are 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays, and closed on weekends.
There will be no garbage, recycling, bulky waste, and yard waste collection on Wednesday, January 1. Monday collection will occur on Monday. Tuesday collection will occur on Tuesday. Wednesday through Friday collection will be one day late with Friday collection occurring on Saturday. Refer to the solid waste collection calendar for the holiday schedule. Reminder: curbside yard waste collection will end Friday, January 10 and will resume Monday, April 7.
